Conflict of Interest
40. (1) If there is a conflict of interest in a member of a management committee participating in the vote on a motion, the member may recuse himself or herself from voting.
(2) If a member of a management committee votes, despite there being a conflict of interest in the member voting, and this vote alters the decision, and the decision is challenged in accordance with Part 6 of this constitution, the decision shall be regarded as invalid.
