Preselection Subcommittee
53. (1) The Queensland branch of the party shall have a Preselection Subcommittee.
(2) The Preselection Subcommittee of the Queensland branch shall either be appointed by a resolution of a general meeting of the Queensland branch, or elected at a general meeting of the Queensland branch.
(3) In voting on a resolution to appoint a Preselection Subcommittee for the Queensland branch, or in voting in an election for a Preselection Subcommittee for the Queensland branch, each member shall have one vote.
(4) The chairman, secretary and treasurer of the Queensland branch of the party shall automatically be chairman, secretary and treasurer respectively of the Preselection Subcommittee of the Queensland branch.
