Procedure at Meetings

46. (1) If none of the officers of the party or branch of the party are present at a general meeting, or willing or able to preside at the meeting, the honorary life members present shall elect one of their number to preside.

(2) At a general meeting, a motion may be carried on a show of hands if it appears to the chairman that, if a poll was conducted, the motion would be carried.

(3) At a general meeting, an honorary life member may demand a poll on a motion.
